A day on the lake

Last August, our executive director chartered a boat to take resident's out on a fishing trip. Six residents, a nurse and nursing assistant, volunteers and our activity director all took part in the fishing. The group went out on Lake Erie, arriving at 3 p.m. and hitting the water at 4 p.m. By 6:30 that evening, our anglers had caught 360 fish!

We packed up our gear and brought our catch home for an old-fashioned fish fry. Everyone enjoyed hearing the fishing tales and seeing our pictures from the day.

It was definitely a fun experience for all of us, and we plan on doing it again this year!
